*** all options above include scratch coat, sales tax and shipping. pricing may vary depending on actual rx, frame size, frame size to pupil distance ratio, frame choice e.g. drill-mount, nylor, etc.
Note: Multi-focal lenses like progressive (aka PAL) and lined bifocals require knowing where pupils are positioned within each frame before lenses can be made and installed. To learn more about how to mark lenses, please take a look at this video:
Two things we would add: 1) you don't need to determine millimeter height of the pupils - just provide an accurate dot marking and we'll measure the pupil height, and 2) check the position of the "dots" twice to ensure accuracy.
Please reference the Lens Thickness chart below or calculator to help determine the thickness of your lenses and which option is best for you.
Please ask us about photochromic, multi-focal (e.g. bifocals, progressive) rx, reading, blue light filtering and/or non-corrective UV sunglass lenses.
If you'd like to make an apples-to-apples comparison between your new and old rxs but they're expressed differently e.g. plus (+) cylinders and minus (-) cylinders, feel free to use this conversion calculator or ask us to convert for you.
